From a young age Isabelle Beernaert has been creating dance pieces and has had the desire to translate music through body language.

Isabelle describes the ability to choreograph as a ‘magical world’ where there are no laws or restrictions. The heart, or human emotions, form the centre of her dance pieces.

Isabelle her inspiration is everyday life. Her choreographies are many people’s reality translated into dance. 

​

While creating a new show Isabelle digs deep within herself and the dancers to lay open all vulnerability and make the dancers truly experience the choreography. Only then, when the dancers feel and experience the story being told themselves, will they be able to tell this story to the audience. 

There is a piece of Isabelle within every one of her shows.
